 The World Trade Center (1973 - 2001)

Also known as the Twin Towers.

At almost fourteen hundred feet high, they were the tallest buildings in the World at one time. Standing out and watching over the buzzing city well below.

Icons of the Big Apple, impressive to say the least. My years wandering the city and the surrounding Burroughs, always looking for the Twin Towers to pop out somewhere.

It was hard not to include them in the found skylines and street scenes. They made a statement, a big, bold statement.

And then they were gone….
