Iris Season

Spring is here in Canada and the trees are changing, gardens are sprouting and flowers blossoming. I took a few Irises up to my studio to study their life of opening. Turns out they have a mind of their own. One insisted on being active only at night, which made it a challenge to photograph, but finally, another cooperated and opened in the later afternoon.
