Green Mosque 1896

Wandering in southern Myanmar, I find a beautiful old green Muslim Mosque built in 1896. I meet with the Muslim owner and find out he is the great-grandson of the original builder of this Mosque.

Directly across the street, his great-grandmother built a Buddhist Temple, as she was Buddhist. They decided to build one of each, so they would not cause any conflict in the community.
