Sidewalk Traffic - Bangkok

Bangkok, a city of about 9 million people and plenty of traffic, traffic and more traffic. Cars, trucks, buses, tuk tuks and so many motorbikes. The city is just not pedestrian friendly, traffic will never stop for people on foot. This place makes New York City feel like a walk in the park.

With the over crowded lanes of traffic, the city got this great idea of putting bike lanes down the middle of the sidewalks. As there are very few people actually riding bicycles in Bangkok, the motorbikes have taken over the sidewalks. Mostly motorcycle taxis, the drivers in orange vests, helmets and in the heat of this city, winter type full face masks? As a pedestrian, you have no right of way, even on the sidewalks . . .  .    .     .
